Westbury Street Holdings continues to welcome SALSA-Approved businesses into their supply chain

Westbury Street Holdings (WSH), is maintaining their ongoing endorsement of SALSA Approval.  The parent company for leading brands such as BaxterStorey, Portico, Caterlink, Benugo, Searcys, The Woodspeen, Holroyd Howe and most recently, Hix, is the UK’s largest independent contract caterer supplying the foodservice and hospitality sectors.

WSH has seen a growth in demand for local produce and continues to support the SALSA Scheme by requesting small and local suppliers to gain SALSA Certification.

Sue Howlett, WSH Technical Manager comments, "We work with a wide range of small food and drink businesses across our food service brands.  We need to be confident that these suppliers are able to produce safe and legal products.  SALSA certification gives us this confidence and has enabled us to welcome on board more and more small businesses to our supply chain."

SALSA Certification has become widely accepted across the food industry, providing retailers, caterers and other sourcing organisations with a robust and reliable certification for the growing small, specialist and local food and drink sector.

Sally Ball, SALSA Marketing & Client Relations, adds, "We are delighted to have the continued support of WSH.  With its impressive portfolio, and a growing requirement for local producers, WSH are able to rely on SALSA to provide the confidence they need to source a wide range of products which reflect new trends, specialist demands and local tastes.  We work closely with all our buyers and supporters to ensure the SALSA Standard fully meets the needs of our industry."
